One of Bank of Virginia's top values is to provide ongoing community involvement. We embrace the communities in which we are located and you will often see us out and about supporting different causes. We also provide use of our board rooms as well as copy and fax services to non-profit organizations free of charge.
Some of the current community relations activities that the Bank has supported include:
- Community Shred Day: customers can bring all items to be shredded.
- Cosby Christmas card contest: students submitted pictures for our 2011 Christmas card and the winner received a framed card along with a Visa card.
- Senior Angels, a local charity benefiting area senior citizens: Food Drive at Christmas.
- Sponsorships: Manchester High School, Clover Hill High School and Cosby High School
- Sponsor of the Stonehenge Country Club Golf Tournament
- Donation to Veterans Hospital / Veteran's Day Drive
